Ben Layton 5K Redesign

For this project, I redesigned a website for a local 5K that is hosted to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
To start this redesign, I did an in-depth study of the current website and other successful race websites to see what information should be relayed to athletes..

The Before
Desk Research
After conducting interviews with 8 individuals that fit the targeted audience, I compiled the following desk research:
8/8 interviewees prioritized ease of usability, especially on the “sign up” page.
5/8 interviewees judged the restaurant based on the website's design.
3/5 interviewees stated they prefer a simple website design.
Once I compiled the qualitative data from the interviews, I was able to start designing with our user in mind every step of the way.
